The Honeywell Gen7 DB (7th Generation Decoder Board) is a high-performance, ultra-miniature OEM hardware decoding module engineered to unleash the full scanning capability of Honeywell’s next-generation 2D area-imaging scan engines, including the N670X series, N660X series, N3601, and Extended FlexRange™ EX30 engines. Powered by a high-speed dual-core processor delivering up to 2.5 times faster decoding speeds than previous-generation boards, the Gen7 DB combines a featherweight sub-3g footprint with enterprise-grade decoding agility on damaged, dirty, and high-density 1D and 2D barcodes.

  • TotalFreedom™ SDK Architecture: Open-system software architecture enables OEMs to develop, load, and execute proprietary value-added parsing, data validation, and formatting scripts directly on the decoder board without host-side processing overhead.
