Featuring an advanced 640 × 480 CMOS area sensor with bright white LED illumination, the HF521 achieves an enhanced motion tolerance of up to 3.9 m/s (12.8 ft/s) and an ultra-wide field of view (83° horizontal × 66.2° vertical). This expansive reading angle ensures instant, first-pass decoding of 1D and 2D barcodes presented at steep angles or directly from smartphone screens. Built into a compact, IP40-sealed metal/polycarbonate housing measuring just 41.7 mm × 41.7 mm × 32.5 mm and weighing 58 g, it supports standard USB (with native Windows driver support) and TTL-RS232 host interfaces, an integrated loud buzzer indicator, and configuration via EzConfig or serial menu commands.
