The Honeywell N660X Series (N6600 and N6603) represents the industry standard in ultra-slim OEM 2D area-imaging barcode scan engines. Measuring an astonishingly thin 6.8 mm (0.27 in) in height, the N660X series is engineered to fit seamlessly into the slimmest enterprise handheld computers, payment sleds, wearable ring scanners, and medical devices without compromising optical reading range or decoding velocity. Powered by Honeywell’s renowned Adaptus® 6.0 imaging technology, the N660X delivers industry-leading motion tolerance up to 5.8 m/s (230 in/s), white illumination, and versatile aiming options across challenging paper labels and reflective smartphone displays.

  • Standard & Extended Range Optics: Available in Standard Range (SR) and Extended Range (ER) configurations, reading standard 13 mil UPC barcodes from 3.8 cm (1.5 in) up to 44.5 cm (17.5 in), and high-density symbols down to 3 mil.
  • Modular Architecture (N6600 vs N6603): Available as the N6600 optics-only engine with parallel/MIPI interface (pairs with Honeywell Gen7 DB or host software decoder), or the self-contained N6603 complete decoded engine with integrated hardware decoding electronics supporting direct USB and TTL serial interfaces.
  • TotalFreedom® 2.0 SDK Architecture: Open software platform supports customized data parsing, image processing plug-ins, and automated driver's license formatting (EasyDL™) executed directly within the engine.
