The Cino FuzzyScan FM480 is a rugged, ultra-compact 1D linear fixed-mount barcode imager engineered for high-throughput automated manufacturing, conveyor systems, self-service kiosks, medical testing analyzers, and sorting lines. Powered by Cino's proprietary FuzzyScan 3.0 linear imaging technology, the FM480 captures standard 1D linear barcodes and linear-stacked symbologies with exceptional speed—delivering an agile scanning rate of up to 500 scans per second.
Built into a solid IP54-rated industrial housing, the FM480 is available in both Front-View and Side-View scan-window orientations to easily fit into extremely tight equipment housings. The imager offers comprehensive hardware/software triggering capabilities—including external physical triggers, serial commands, and continuous scanning—along with dedicated OK/NG output signals for automated PLC machine control. With outstanding 3 mil high-resolution barcode reading and a wide depth of field reaching up to 34 inches, the FM480 reliably decodes low-contrast, soiled, poorly printed, or damaged barcode labels on moving production lines.
