The Honeywell FlexRange N6803 Series (N6803MR Mid-Range and N6803FR Far-Range) represents Honeywell's ultra-slim undecoded 2D barcode scan engine technology. Weighing only 3 g [0.11 oz] with an ultra-compact 6.8 mm height, the N6803 series enables OEMs to standardize on a single, ultra-miniature scan engine across wearable terminals, ultra-rugged mobile computers, handheld sleds, and compact industrial scanning devices.
Powered by Smart Adaptus 8.0 imaging technology, the N6803 series eliminates mechanical zoom mechanisms. The N6803MR features a high-performance single-lens architecture with a 1920 × 800 global shutter sensor reading from 6 cm up to 6 m [2.3 in to 20 ft]. The N6803FR features a patented dual-lens parallel architecture—combining a near-field 1920 × 1200 sensor and far-field 1280 × 800 sensor—delivering seamless close-up to ultra-long-range decoding up to 10 m [33 ft]. Both engines integrate a high-visibility 650 nm laser aiming dot, MIPI interface, white LED illumination, and rugged 3500 G shock tolerance.
