The Honeywell 8670 Wireless Bluetooth® Ring Scanner combines the industry-leading 1D and 2D decoding performance of Honeywell’s flagship Xenon and Granit series into an ultra-ergonomic, wearable form factor. Powered by Adaptus® 6.0 Imaging Technology, the 8670 delivers fast omnidirectional scanning, superior motion tolerance, and aggressive reading of low-quality, curved, or damaged barcodes. Designed for scan-intensive warehouse and supply chain environments, the 8670 keeps both hands completely free to handle boxes, pick inventory, and accelerate throughput safely.

Key Enterprise Features

  • Hands-Free Two-Piece Ergonomics: Features a tiny, lightweight optical scanner worn on the finger and a comfortable Bluetooth transmitter module secured to the wrist. Operators maintain unrestricted two-handed freedom for lifting, moving cartons, and driving forklifts.
  • Adaptus® 6.0 Area-Imaging Technology: Decodes virtually all standard 1D and 2D barcodes instantaneously, even when printed poorly, wrinkled, wrapped on curved bottles, or displayed on reflective smartphone screens.
  • Multi-Sensory Operator Feedback: Features an integrated haptic vibrator, loud audible beeper, multicolor status LEDs, and a bright aiming crosshair to provide clear, positive read confirmations in noisy distribution centers.
  • Hygienic, Interchangeable Straps: Built with soft, non-absorbent elastomeric finger and wrist straps that resist sweat and moisture, clean easily, and can be quickly swapped between shift workers to ensure maximum workplace hygiene.
  • Enterprise Bluetooth® Mobility: Bluetooth Class 2 wireless radio provides reliable connectivity up to 10 m (33 ft) from host mobile computers, wearable terminals, vehicle-mount computers, tablets, and PCs across Apple iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.
  • Industrial Ruggedness: Engineered with durable elastomeric overmolding to survive multiple 1.5 m (5 ft) drops to concrete, 1,000 tumbles, and continuous contact with metal warehouse racking and conveyor belts (IP54 sealing rating).
