The Honeywell N4300 Series (N4313, N4315, and N4303) is a family of compact, miniature OEM 1D laser barcode scan engines designed to deliver fast, highly accurate scanning in space-constrained mobile terminals, medical devices, payment terminals, and automated kiosks. Built around a durable grounded metal chassis and a single-board architecture, the N4300 series provides proven laser scanning reliability, low misread rates, and extreme durability with shock resistance up to 2,000 G.
The N4300 series features a bi-directional 650 nm laser scanner operating at 104 scans per second, capable of reading high-density and low-contrast 1D barcodes across deep depth-of-field ranges. With built-in discrete object detection, the N4300 is the first miniature laser engine designed to facilitate automatic hands-free scanning without requiring external sensor hardware. Its configurable "Smart Pick List" targeting mode and multiple interface options (TTL RS-232, USB, or undecoded laser) ensure seamless drop-in integration across diverse enterprise host hardware.
